Changing your MMP is a significant step, but with SearchAds.com, the process is streamlined to minimize disruption to your campaign data. Our platform supports multiple MMP integrations, meaning you can add a new MMP without removing your existing integration. However, if you decide to remove your existing MMP integration, here are simple steps.

Consider before switching…

Before proceeding with the switch, be aware that switching MMPs will delete all old data stored in the platform. New data collection will begin from scratch with the new MMP. This transition period is crucial for maintaining accurate data tracking, so it is important to plan the switch carefully.

3 steps to changing your MMP

1- Click “Attribution” to select the MMP integration you want to remove. This step is important to stop data flow from the previous MMP to SearchAds.com.

Keep this in mind!

Disconnecting the integrated MMP does not delete your integrations from SearchAds.com. It may no longer be shown in your platform’s table, but if you wish to delete the MMP connection, you should visit your MMP’s website and remove it there. Afterwards, you will get the following message;

2- After our team confirms that the old data has been successfully removed, you can proceed to connect your new MMP. SearchAds.com supports multiple MMP integrations, and you can find detailed instructions on establishing this new connection in our Help Center. Ensure you follow these guidelines carefully to set up the new integration correctly.

3- Once you have set up the new MMP, monitor the integration to ensure data is received correctly. The data flow from the new MMP must be free of issues.

Additional tips

  • After integrating the new MMP, allow at least two weeks for the data to mature. This period is essential for accumulating sufficient data to enable effective goal-based optimizations in your campaigns.

  • The steps outlined above are specific to removing your MMP integration on your SearchAds.com dashboard. However, if you'd like to disconnect your MMP connection entirely, you need to visit your MMP's platform and disconnect it from there.
