When it comes to Apple Search Ads (or any auction-based advertising), all of us are curious about what would be the right bid amount, or right keywords to use in our campaigns. By visiting the “Recommendations” page, you can get up-to-date suggestions on keyword bids, campaign budgets, and keywords.

How to use “Recommendations”?

  • Start by logging into your SearchAds.com account. Then, navigate to the Insights Center, which is located on the sidebar to the left of your dashboard. Here, you’ll find the “Recommendations” tool, which will alert you to any detected issues or areas for improvement.

  • You can see the available, dismissed and applied recommendation number on the Recommendations page separately for bids, keywords and daily budgets. To see the details of the recommendations for specific apps, you need to click on the “View” button next to the app name. If there are no recommendations available, you won’t be able to see the app name below the sections.

  • When you click on the “View” button, you’ll see the details of the recommendations on a table view showing relevant data and decide if you’d like to apply the changes or not. You can implement recommended changes right away from that page, without having to manually update.

Keep in mind that you should visit “Recommendations” as much as you can to avoid missing out on opportunities. The platform constantly checks your campaign performance to detect any fluctuation immediately.

By constantly checking your campaigns to find areas for improvement, our recommendations compile the ideal bids for keywords, budgets for campaigns, and keywords to bid on. It aims to help you avoid overbidding or underbidding on your keywords, capping your scale with daily budgets, and missing out on useful keywords.
